Virtual Lakota Language Weekend – New York
 The Lakota Language Consortium is hosting the first Virtual Lakota Language Weekend of 2021 over the February 13-14 weekend. Registration filled quickly as Lakota learners demonstrated excitement for the chance to increase their Lakota speaking skills in this two-day intensive Lakota learning event. We’re excited to have support from a New York City foundation for the fourth year to host the event for the Indigenous New York community. 

New Lakota Dictionary 3  
We’re excited to announce the third version of the New Lakota Dictionary (NLD) is coming soon! NLD Pro v 3.0 will be available for your Mac computer and includes over 31,000 entries and over 53,000 example sentences! Users will be able to search for Lakȟóta words, hear pronunciations, and increase their knowledge of Lakȟótiyapi. Be the first to know when NLD Pro v 3.0 is available by following the Lakota Language Consortium on Facebook.
