Bring Owóksape into your Lakota classrooms 
LLC is excited to offer Lakota teachers and administrators an opportunity to bring the Owóksape learning platform into Lakota language classrooms. The teacher portal allows teachers to design custom curricula, create tests and quizzes, and track student progress. Meadowlark and the Rattlesnake now available!

 Tȟašíyagnuŋpa na Siŋtéȟla, the second book in an intermediate picture book series recorded by anthropologist and linguist Ella Deloria, is now available for purchase in the LLC bookstore! Through vivid and colorful illustrations, Meadowlark and the Rattlesnake tells a traditional story of a clever meadowlark and conniving rattlesnake. 
Thanks to a generous donation, teachers will be able to obtain some free copies for their classroom. Please e-mail customersupport@lakhota.org to request book copies.

October 17-18 Virtual Lakota Language Weekend

In partnership with the University of Denver, LLC is gearing up for our fourth  Virtual Lakota Language Weekend! Registration filled up fast as Lakota learners expressed excitement to learn and connect with dozens of other speakers. We look forward to seeing all the students and Lakota instructors enjoying a weekend of Lakȟótiyapi! If you didn’t get a chance to register for this one, mark your calendars for the next Virtual Lakota Language Weekend catered to community members in the Rapid City area school district.
